Everybody's favorite game show!

An arcade-y puzzle platformer that combines block dropping strategy gameplay with run & jump action gameplay! Build a path from blocks up as high as you can! Go for the high score! Impress the host: Guy T-Spin!

This is my very first completed Game Jam project! I've participated in jams before, but I always came out the other end with no game to show... I did it this time, though! I'm proud of myself! There are several bugs and spots that could use polish, but it's a complete game nonetheless! Thank you for taking the time to check it out :]

Oh yeah, and apologies in advance for the difficulty

Controls:

A/D - Move block left and right

Q/E - Rotate block clockwise and counter-clockwise

S - Increase block falling speed

W - Drop block instantly

Left/Right Arrow Keys - Move robot left and right

Up Arrow Key - Make robot jump

Enter - Advance dialogue/Start game

Esc - Exit game

This is a really solid concept and I will so play it more if you update it. The music is good, very game show. Guy T-Spin is the best.

Key-bindings would be cool, I know that can be a lot of work but it's work that you could re-use in literally any gamedev project.

The only other quality-of-life thing I can think of is to add a tutorial button on the main screen for people who need the controls again.

oh yeah I had a round where I topped out and it didn't fail me, is that a bug?

Thanks for the feedback! Yes, the topping out thing is a bug, I tried several ways to fix it and couldn't figure it out, but didn't want to spend too much time on it when work could be put in elsewhere. Key-binding is a common bit of feedback I'm getting, I will consider that for future projects or this one if I choose to update it!
